Tallish--for a human--he's neither over or underweight. He's in good shape for his age, which is probably due to endless hours of hiking and climbing. Mullen's skin is a pale, peachy colour that, unfortunately, burns to a nice, crispy red if he stays out in the sun for long. His hair is usually cut quite short, and is a shade of blonde that's smack dab between dirty and platinum... That is, when it hasn't been dyed a bright, glossy green colour by prank or mistake. He has blue eyes, which, along with his slightly-darker-blonde brows, make up the most expressive part of his face. His favoured clothing includes lighter coloured t-shirts and sweaters, as well as the usual pocket-filled cargo-pants and all-purpose army boots. He's never seen without his dog-tags, of course, which hang from a simple chain around his neck. |

Mullen doesn't really have an excuses for his oft-times peculiar behavior. For the most part, he's a very good actor. In fact, he's spent most of his life acting, being the person that the UNIS has wanted him to be. Underneath the military-man facade, Mullen is generally upbeat, goofy, and juvenile in his sense of humor. He's a musical person, and can usually be caught humming some jingle under his breath if he isn't concentrating on whatever task is at hand. For someone you'd expect to be rather reserved and even conservative, the coordinator of the Earth-side of the Bonding project is really rather a bit odder then he first appears. For one thing, he's managed to fall in love with one of the natives--and not even a human, at that, but a dragon by the name of Shokua Vallum. Despite his contradictory life-style, he believes that he shows her his real (if a little stupid and quaint) side... while he reserves his 'poker face' for the rest of the world. |
