| Physical Description: | Apax looks more like a seven-turn old, more then someone a turn over a decade! He's short and skinny, with hardly any muscle on his body. His face is usually plastered with a grin or an awed expression (he is awed very easily), and his dark eyes are made all the more noticeable by the rim of whites that are visible around them. He has a flat nose and wide lips, and teeth made even more starkly white against his dark skin. His dark brown hair is, surprisingly, nice and straight when he takes the time to fix it, and is cut to uniformly to about ear-length. His clothing speaks volumes about where he's been: taking patches and pieces from all the Holds he's travelled to, in the form of hand-me-downs and small trades, Apax might as well be wearing a rag-quilt. He moves in a perpetual careening-forward motion, as if at any moment he'll trip and fall and hurt himself. This boy never slows down. |

For a trader-boy, Apax has remained hideously innocent throughout his short life. He still believes in the best in people (even if it needs to be coaxed or poked out), and he's still ready to smile and ready to laugh. Living in a time of Thread, he's more fascinated with dragons then can be said to be healthy. He fantasizes often about becoming a heroic dragonrider, and it will be an interesting day indeed, when someone breaks him to the reality of it. Unfortunately, or maybe fortunately, Apax--now P'ax--has managed to bond about the only dragon who's likely to keep him care free for the rest of his life. Despite the difficulties taking care of another being presents, P'ax and Nydith have managed to make life a game, and even the most menial tasks are fun, at least to them. P'ax certainly doesn't mind, but he's likely to drive his sister, not to mention her bond, insane before they finish weyrling training! |
