The Nephkigal

Alceras Near foot of the canyon in which Kalyturn's Hybridization center has made a home, a few unrefined cave-entrances admit housing for the Center's population of Nephkigal. At the moment, there are only a pair living here, a rarely coloured female (or 'Falkia', in her language) by the name of Alceras, and a sandy-coloured male, named Zemson. Alceras doesn't speak much Common, though she is perfectly amicable to those who enter the canyon from beneath the huge southern arch just a hundred or so meters away from her den. She seems to prefer activity during the dusky hours of evening and morning, retreating inside when the light crests the canyon's walls, and when shadows are no longer easily visible. Since Zemson has joined her living quarters, Alceras doesn't seem nearly as lonely! She seems to delight in the way that he brings her little gifts and food, and while she still enjoys the company of random passers-by, she isn't nearly as eager to dart out of her den to visit. She has learned a few words of Common, and if you want to stop by chat, she'd be happy to sit down with you. Play a quick game of Bones, maybe?
Zemson Zemson is deferential in every way to Alceras, having only moved into her cave-complex when he realized that she had taken up residence there. Being a male, and a common-coloured one at that, he doesn't expect a lot of respectable treatment from any Nephkigal--though Alceras always treats him politely, as one friend to another, and Zem' doesn't take that for granted for a second. He might seem simpering to some people, but he's still learning that his place is amongst equals, here. 
Phering Phering showed up to Alceras' little Nephkigal den only a little after Zemson, and while the sandy male seems deferential to the single female, Phering considers himself equal, at the very least. He does his own work, and he's very innovative with regards to carving materials to suit his needs, but he doesn't take any guff from Alceras, and Zem' is certainly too below him to bother bullying. He is, to say the least, a little arrogant.
