Unplugged: Outside of the matrix, Crank has a boyish figure, with a flat chest and short, brown hair. Her skin is a nearly translucent shade of white, while her eyes are pale grey-blue. She has wide but nearly as pale lips, and a lanky frame covered with the typical grey-brown Zion-made garb. She often gets passed down remanents from other crew-members, so--aside from her painfully gained experience with learning how to sew--she is often the shaggiest dressed aboard the Corinthian.

When things are going well, Crank is typically cheerful, and talkative, quick to try to make friends with a new arrival, and often able to hold up a one-sided conversation with social-failures like the human-formed machine, Core, for hours at a time. She is, however, still extremely sensitive to how other people regard her, and when she feels that someone is disapproving of her, she'll often jump to conclusions and avoid the person until they manage to sort things out with her.

Her recent relationship with the Operator aboard the Dragonchaser, Derfegertz, is a tentative one at the moment, at best. While Crank isn't the kind of person who can easily offer affection, she often requires it in large amounts. Thusly, she tends to stumble through relationships with alarming clumsiness. At least hers and her dragon-bond, Ahvi's relationship is fairly simplistic: Ahbreviaka treats her like a younger sister and provokes her whenever possible, 'training' Crank to 'grow a spine'. Even if Crank doesn't like it much, at least it's helping to teach her to fight back instead of slinking away at the nearest hint of trouble.

Ahvi' has shown a great deal of focus in her residual self image: through Crank, she has learned to create a human form for herself. At first it mirrored Crank's exactly, but with time and practice, Ahvi has been able to construct for herself a highly individualized self-image of just what she would look like if she were a human! In this state, she is an achromatic being, with white skin and black and white clothing--even her hair is black on one side, and white on the other! It's only her eyes, which are they same brass-yellow as in dragon form, that remain the same.

Unplugged: Outside of the matrix, Ahbreviaka is a fair amount more dull-coloured. Her hide just doesn't reflect florescent or torch-light the way that it does that of natural sunlight. Still, she is very healthy-looking, being significantly less armored then her siblings, which is also an indication that she requires less nanobot-assistence in maintaining her body then other unplugged dragons. Aside from the plugs that line her body, Ahvi's only real plating is on her feet and wing-hands, at her wing-shoulders and the base of her neck, along her muzzle and her tail-tip. Her tail-spade is replaced by a stubby, grate-like fan. her head-webbing is incomplete in places, allowing for her jack-in plug to remain functional.
