Appearance:	Vanar is a big, bulky dragon, reaching about 17' from foot to head (discluding his head-crest) as an adult. His hide is a tarnished, mottled silver; so tarnished, in fact, that it looks more green then metallic at all. Against all of his cool, heavy-looking body colouration, his eyes stand out as a deep, crimson red. Outside of the matrix, his wing-webbing is a fainter shade of silver from the unmarked parts of his hide. The webbing between his head-crest is nearly completely absent. His body is heavily modified with metal-plating: everything from his hands to his tail, to his neck, to the base of his wings, and even the entire top of his muzzle is reinforced, or even entirely replaced by manufactured parts. Despite this, or maybe because of it, he's incredibly strong, with good stamina and good dexterity. Plugged in, Vanar's metal plating is absent, and the duller, fainter silver of his wings, headcrest, horns and stomach is forever a raining window of the matrix-code behind Vere or the true-matrix. He still retains his bulky size, though of course he looks healthier, and he still has those darkly-glowing, red eyes.
Personality:	Fiercely independant, Vanar is perhaps one of the oddest dragons to emerge from the first hatching-raid. He gets along well enough with others, but he can deal just as well on his own as with a group. He hardly shares the same kind of mental-link as a regular dragon--he can't, being bonded to only a facsimile of a human mind. He can and does wander by himself, though of course he would never truly 'run away'. He is, however, completely loyal to Guardian, and if need-be, would probably sacrifice his life to his bond's cause. He respects the machine and expects the same in return. Vanar is always learning from his bond, but at the same time (perhaps trickily), he's teaching the machine just what it is to own emotions.
