Appearance: |
Ahbreviaka, or 'Ahvi', is a peculiarity among dragons in her colouration. Her base coat is a medium silver colour, however, that isn't the strange part. The strange part is the intricate brass striping that covers nearly all of her body. The bold markings twist and turn down from her spine to her arms and legs and up to her wings, though they are excluded from her hands, wing-fingers and feet. Her eyes are somehow a cool amber colour, and manage to convey a draconic mischeviousness that's nearly unsettling. Inside the matrix, her short build is nearly exactly the same as when unplugged, save for the fact that she takes on the usual better-fed appearance. Her wings, tail, belly, horns and crest-webbing, however, take on the forever raining window of the code behind Vere and the true-matrix. Her colouration remains the same, though at times the brass, maze-like markings of her body can take on a nearly 3D effect. In the real world, Ahvi is just as full of life as she appears in the matrix, though this isn't entirely apparent at first glance. She's healthy enough, with fairly low amounts of reconstructive metal plating... however the shade of silver under her considerably flatter stripe-pattern is a somewhat sickly colour. She's still short for her species, (14' from head to foot), but she's as quick as a bullet, and just as deadly (should the need arise). |
Personality: |
A dragoness to match her bond, Ahvi is always joking around for one reason or another, and if she's not, she looks as if she's about to break out with something amusing or potentially evil to say. She loves eliciting reactions from others, be they good or bad, from dragon or human or even machine. To her, destroying 'squiddies' is only second to destroying Swift or any others aboard the Corinthian in word-wars. This doesn't mean she's particularily good at it, as she more often then not will burst into laughter before she can get her 'serious' point across. It doesn't mean that she doesn't try. She loves playing mind-games when she can get the chance: Guardian is a particular mystery to her, which means that she rarely leaves him alone. She will do what Crank or Fire-Eater tell her to do, but only if it isn't something that requires complete seriousness. When in tense situations, she prefers to fade into the background and let others do the work. |
