Presided over by the two mysterious, god-like figures, Dray and JKatkina, this archipelago is heavy with magic residue that influences its already diverse population of Jracini. Jracini are, themselves, small omnivorous creatures that vary so wildly from one another as to be assumed different species--they're not. Nearly all Jracini range in sizes similar to house cats. A few are smaller, and a miniscule amount are much larger. Nearly all are quadrupedal and vaguely resemble canide-based dragonets.
Jracini also rarely possess wings, though a few kinds are able to fly. Instead, a Jracini will often sport floofs of feathers or webbed rib-spurs, as if they have devolved from a flight-capable species! Their intelligence is between that of a dog's and, perhaps, a horse's or dolphin's... although there are a few secretive Jracini that possess human intelligence or higher--those so rarely come into contact with others as to be assumed a myth.
As for the gods themselves, while there is much to say about them, most of it is folklore to be discussed over a campfire, and won't interest your common explorer. What is important to note is that they welcome off-islanders (and off-worlders) to their small domain, and they encourage said travelers to take their chosen Jracini back wherever they came from! Both deities do not, however, look kindly upon abuse of any Jracini--anyone caught abandoning or mistreating their pet will quickly pay penance!
